1. Who We Are

2. Assumption of Risk (Read This)

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Information on this site is general educational content, not personalized advice about whether a particular trip is safe or appropriate for you, your group, or the conditions on any given day.
• River conditions change constantly. Water levels, weather, hazards, access, and regulations vary by season, by year, and sometimes by hour. A rapid at one flow is a fundamentally different rapid at another. Descriptions here cannot account for conditions on your trip.
• Difficulty ratings are approximations. International Scale of River Difficulty classifications are subjective, vary with water level, and are not a guarantee of what you will encounter.
• You are solely responsible for evaluating your own skills, equipment, training, physical condition, and judgment, and those of everyone in your group.
• Nothing here substitutes for proper training, appropriate equipment, current on-the-ground information, and qualified instruction or professional guiding.
• You assume all risk arising from any decision you make based on information found here.

If you are uncertain whether a section is within your abilities, go with a licensed professional outfitter.

3. Accuracy and Currency

We work from primary sources and try hard to be accurate. We can't guarantee it.

• Permit rules, fees, launch windows, and agency procedures change without notice. Always confirm directly with the managing agency before relying on anything here.
• Flow data, water temperatures, and conditions are point-in-time and may be out of date by the time you read them. Check USGS gauges for current data.
• Trip prices, schedules, and availability change. Confirm with the operator.
• Content may contain errors or omissions despite our efforts.

We make no warranty that any information here is accurate, complete, or current. If you spot an error, please tell us.

4. No Professional Relationship

We are not an outfitter, guide service, guiding school, or permit agent. We do not run trips, own boats, employ guides, take reservations, or issue permits. Using this site creates no guide-client, professional, or advisory relationship of any kind.

5. Third-Party Services and Links

We link to outfitters, booking platforms, government agencies, and other outside resources. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, services, safety practices, or the outcome of any transaction with them.

Any booking you make is a contract between you and that operator or platform, governed by their terms. Disputes about bookings, cancellations, refunds, or trip conduct are between you and them.
